The University of London’s Centre of African Studies welcomes applications from Nigerian scholars to partake in Leventis Foundation Fellowships at University of London, a system of collaborative research financed by the Leventis Foundation.
Sabbatical at the University of London’s Centre of African Studies:
The Leventis Research Co-operation Program is created to help younger students grow their research interests in partnership with their colleagues in London. Candidates are welcome to put in to spend three months as guests of the Centre of African Studies so as to carry out their research in libraries and collections and to take part in the academic life of the Centre. The scheme might be mainly appropriate for students working up a Ph.D. thesis into publishable form.

How to Apply for Leventis Foundation Fellowships at University of London
To be given consideration for the fellowship, candidates should forward the following documents through email to firstname.lastname@example.org
- A complete curriculum vitae (maximum 2 pages)
- A report of present research interests (of not over 1,000 words) stating the objectives to be attained during the research time in London
- One academic reference statement backing the application (forwarded directly from the email address of the referee to email@example.com)
Applications are given consideration to by a Steering Committee in London. Emails will be disbursed to the candidates notifying them of the Committee’s decision shortly after the closing date of 31st March.
