International Water Centre Scholarships at Griffith University in Australia 2020

The International Water Centre Masters Scholarships are esteemed scholarship awards granted yearly to high caliber applicants who clearly display prospects to become future water leaders to study the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) program at Griffith University.

Target group:

Type A – Future water leader from chosen nations in Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle-East.  One of these scholarship awards will be set aside and awarded to a female applicant.

Type B –  Future water leader from chosen nations in North America, Europe, or Asia.

Scholarship coverage/inclusion:

Type A – Each scholarship award is valued at around AU$ 95,564 and will provide full tuition fees, living costs, two-way air travel to Australia, and student visa.

Type B – The scholarship award is valued at around AU$ 58,989 and will provide full tuition fees, two-way air travel to Australia, and international health cover.

Eligibility for International Water Centre Scholarships at Griffith University

To apply for a scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • A finished undergraduate degree program in a related area of study from a globally-recognized institution;
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience (paid work or volunteering experience) applicable to the program;
  • Possess an offer of admission into the MIWM program from Griffith University.

Foreign applicants have to also display English Language Proficiency (ELP) – see Griffith University requirements and also minimum scores for ELP tests

How to Apply for International Water Centre Scholarships at Griffith University

Candidates who put in for the scholarship award have to first apply for admission into Griffith University and satisfy the admission conditions. Applications for the MIWM Scholarship awards are done via an online link. Online applications for the scholarship awards become available on 18 May and will end on 1 August 2020 for international candidates.
