Global Excellence Scholarship at University of Western Australia 2020

The University of Western Australia is providing the Global Excellence Scholarship awards to exceptional undergraduate and postgraduate scholars from chosen nations across the globe, who apply for specific courses at the University. The scholarship awards are established to encourage and help these exceptional foreign students to start and pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification at the University.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

The scholarship value, in the form of a yearly tuition fee reduction, is up to AUD 45,000 over 3 years for Bachelor’s degree candidates and up to AUD 30,000 across 2 years for postgraduates.

The value of the Scholarship award is decided by the candidate’s equivalent Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or UWA weighted average mark (WAM). Check the official scholarship website (link found below) for more details.

Eligibility for Global Excellence Scholarship at University of Western Australia

Scholarship award candidates have to be one of the nations on the list (see above).  They are required to have obtained an offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate program at the university and have attained an equivalent of ATAR of 85.00 – 98.00+; or WAM of 70.00 – 85.00+.

How to Apply for Global Excellence Scholarship at University of Western Australia

Qualified candidates to the University will be automatically given consideration for the scholarship award and do not need to submit a separate application.  For postgraduates programs starting Semester 2, 2020, the closing date for application is 26 July 2020 while some postgraduate programs run on different schedules (see official website). For undergraduate programs, applications are available two years prior to your start date.
