DEPM Prostate Cancer Research Scholarship at Monash University in Australia 2020

The DEPM Prostate Cancer Research Scholarship award is aimed at encouraging students to undergo additional studies at Honours level in medicine at the Monash Alfred campus in the field of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, concentrating principally on enhancing health outcomes for men diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Eligibility for DEPM Prostate Cancer Research Scholarship at Monash University

  • Candidates from outside the home nation will often be required to satisfy specific English language requirements so as to be able to study at the university.
  • Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizen, holder of an Australian permanent resident visa, permanent humanitarian visa or international student.
  • Applicants must be commencing or continuing in a full-time School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine Honours program at the Monash Alfred campus
  • Possess a minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 70% or more, during undergraduate education in Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (Honours) (BMS4100 & BMS4200), Bachelor of Medical Sciences (Honours) (MED4301 & MED4302), or the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) (HSC4011, HSC4001 & 4002).
  • Starting or continuing in a full-time School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine Honours program at the Monash Alfred campus (Bachelor of Medical Sciences (Honours) (MED4301 & MED4302), Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (Honours) (BMS4100 & BMS4200), or the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) (HSC4011, HSC4001 & 4002)).

How to Apply for DEPM Prostate Cancer Research Scholarship at Monash University

To be considered for the opportunity, applicants must take admission in a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours), Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences (Honours), or the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) degree program. After that, all eligible students will be automatically assessed.
